The Bog road

Any road called the Bog Road has to be travelled. It runs between Clifden and Roundstone, offering spectacular scenery with the Twelve Bens towering in the distance. You'll find yourself pulling in to the ditch every few metres to capture the weathered bogs and glassy lakes, but be careful that you don't pull in too far - they are wet and deep, and that's a story for another day!
