Service

We use An Post postal service for all our deliveries. This is a fully tracked service, and we will email you your tracking number when your order has been dispatched.

We ship framed photographs worldwide on a weekly basis, and we use an acrylic glaze for safe shipping. All our deliveries are insured, so in the rare event of damage to your order during transit, please contact us and we will resolve any issues as soon as possible.

Costs at a Glance

Note for U.K. deliveries: due to Brexit, orders to the UK may incur a customs and/or VAT charge for which the recipient of the order will be liable to pay; this is outside of our control.

Please note this guide is an estimate of shipping costs including packaging. Prices may vary depending on your order. All final shipping prices are calculated at checkout.

The above lead times are guidelines and not definitive; if you need an order urgently, please contact us with your desired delivery/ collection date and we will let you know if this is possible.

Returns

How to return

Should you wish to return your Giles Norman photograph, we are happy to refund the cost of your order excluding delivery. You must return your order within 28 days of receiving it to be entitled to a refund or exchange. We cannot refund or exchange photographs that have been personalised with an inscription.

To return your order, simply send your photograph to the address listed in its original condition and its original packaging, and we will arrange a refund upon receipt of your returned order.

Yes, we ship both framed and unframed photographs worldwide, and we offer tax-free shopping for non-EU customers. The Giles Norman Gallery ships internationally on a weekly basis, and we take every packaging precaution (including the use of acrylic glaze) to ensure a safe delivery of your order.

No, the size dimensions relate to the photographic print including the white border. If you would like an estimate size of what the framed photograph will be, we advise you to add 1" on both sides to both the width and height of the photograph.

We offer black or white frames, but if this does not work with your interior aesthetic, we do offer an unframed option so that you can match the print to a frame style of your choice.

No, unfortunately Giles Norman does not work on commission.

Yes, all our photographs are delivered gift wrapped, and you are welcome to avail of this option if purchasing a photograph from our Kinsale gallery. Our gift wrapping is complimentary, and includes gift tags with your requested message.

We launched this new website in June 2020, and it does not recognise voucher numbers created before this date. You have two options: place your order with us via email or phone, quoting the long voucher number on the back of the card. OR, you can proceed with your online order, and send us an email, quoting the long voucher number on the back of the card, and if your voucher is valid, we will refund you the value of your voucher.

Caring for Your Print

Prints are not meant to remain in a tube for long periods. Gentle handling protects against fingerprints and creases.

Whenever possible, take your print directly to a professional framer before removing it from the tube. If opening the print  yourself, handle carefully from the edge of the paper - clean hands or gloves will prevent marks on the surface.

Delicate by nature, each print should be entrusted to a professional framer. This ensures it is preserved and presented with care. In the gallery we use a solid wood frame and its measures 30mm square. Please see link for further information:put link in here

Slight waves may appear when a print is first unrolled - this is natural. A framer can dry mount the work on acid free board with archival tissue, ensuring it lies flat and remains protected.
