Beara Peninsula
The first time I traveled to the Beara Peninsula, it was shrouded in mist and rain, and I left there unimpressed without even taking out my camera. And to my shame, it took me another 10 years to revisit this peninsula; only then did I realise its stunning beauty, and understand why it drew so many artists to its unique light. You could say: it started off with a disastrous first date, but in the end, I fell in love with the Beara Peninsula and I return to her again and again.
