I mostly photograph the sea from the land, alone on the shore without tiller or sail to worry about, which isn’t the best method when trying to capture the stunning detail of such a remote lighthouse. So, when a friend offered to take me out on his boat, I jumped at the chance to get up close to the beautiful Fastnet Lighthouse off West Cork.
